Beginner Guitar Lesson

Lesson 1

Basic Guitar Chords:

Here is the list of major chords used in guitar. So bring your guitar and start by learning these chords. Don't rush. Just Play one chord at a time if you are starting just now. Practice all chords one by one. There are so many songs you can play if you know these basic guitar chords. 

Just place your fingers and strum all strings once. remove your fingers from the fretboard and then again do it. It's a easy way to practice.

C Major: 1st finger on 1st Fret 2nd string
               2nd finger on 2nd Fret 4th string
               3rd finger on 3rd Fret 5th string

D Major: 1st finger on 2nd Fret 3rd string
                2nd finger on 2nd Fret 1st string
                3rd finger on 3rd Fret 2nd string

E Major: 1st finger on 1st Fret 3rd string
               2nd finger on 2nd Fret 5th string
               3rd finger on 2nd Fret 4th string

F Major: 1st finger on Fret 1(covering whole fret)
               2nd finger on 2nd Fret 3rd string
               3rd finger on 3rd Fret 5th string
               4th finger on 3rd Fret 4th string

G Major: 1st finger on 2nd Fret 5th string
                2nd finger on 3rd Fret 6th string
                3rd finger on 3rd Fret 1st string

A Major: 2nd finger on 2nd Fret 4th string
                3rd finger on 2nd Fret 3rd string
                4th finger on 2nd fret 2nd string
(Note: we aren't playing with first finger here for the faster chord change.)

B Major: 1st finger on 2nd Fret 1st string
                2nd finger on 4th Fret 4th string
                3rd finger on 4th Fret 3rd string
                4th finger on 4th Fret 2nd string
